Amsterdam's Prunk is the driving force behind PIV Records, one of the most respected independent house labels to emerge from the Netherlands in recent years. As both label boss and resident, he has built PIV into a genuine brand with a devoted following, hosting packed label nights at Amsterdam's Claire and taking the concept international. His DJ style is rooted in classic house music, drawing from disco, Chicago and Detroit influences while keeping things firmly on the dancefloor. PIV's Ibiza residency has become a highlight of the Cova Santa calendar, bringing the label's no-nonsense house ethos to the island's more intimate venue scene. Prunk's sets are warm, groovy and built on deep crate-digging, offering a refreshing alternative to the harder sounds that dominate much of the current circuit.
