[UNVRS] (pronounced “Universe”) is the world’s very first Hyperclub, after opening in Ibiza for the 2025 season.

It’s located in San Rafael, in the centre of Ibiza, close to Amnesia – another of Ibiza’s famous superclubs.

[UNVRS] was announced in August 2024. It’s owned by The Night League, the company behind Ibiza super clubs Ushuaïa and Hï.

Yann Pissenem, founder of The Night League, announced [UNVRS] in a social media video alongside Hollywood superstar Will Smith.

But what’s the history behind [UNVRS]? The venue was previously known as Privilege, which was well known for being the largest club in the world. Being able to host 10,000 clubbers made it the largest super club even by Ibiza standards. During its time as Privilege, the club hosted residencies from the likes of RESISTANCE, Carl Cox, Tiesto, and Armin van Buuren.

Some of the island’s most current famous parties also took place at the Vista Club in Privilege: elrow and Solid Grooves.

Before Privilege, the venue was called Ku. Perhaps the most famous party at Ku was Manumission, the worldwide acclaimed party brought over from the UK to Ibiza in the 90s.

Originally opened in 1978, the building has been through several renovations across its lifetime. With the club sitting dormant from 2019 until [UNVRS] launched, the look and feel inside is now a world away from what regulars will remember.

In its previous life as Privilege, the venue was split between a cavernous main room, the Vista Club and the Coco Loco bar, with gardens and chill-out areas scattered across the outdoor spaces.

Then there’s the dome. The geodesic structure is what Privilege was most known for, visible from a distance as clubbers made their way to the venue every summer. It remains a central feature at [UNVRS], alongside several new rooms to explore, including Wild Comet and The Bunker.

As part of the building’s transformation by The Night League – the team behind Hï and Ushuaïa – VIP table options are extensive. TNL state that:

UNVRS has raised the production ceiling on the island, pairing arena-scale staging with modular sets that reconfigure nightly – the kind of show normally reserved for stadium tours, now running six nights a week. It’s pulled Ibiza’s nightlife squarely into “hyperclub” territory, where lighting, sound and visuals are built bespoke per residency rather than dressed onto a generic room.

As mentioned above, there are plenty of VIP options at [UNVRS] given The Night League’s announcement of the club.

For certain events, a VIP tickets are offered at events. This entitles the holder to access a VIP balcony, a VIP terrace, and have some drinks included. It does not include a private table, but it offers an elevated experience compared to regular entry.

UNVRS hosted its Opening Party on Sunday the 26th April.

UNVRS 2026 sees the return of David Guetta’s Galactic Circus. The French megastar had an incredibly successful first season bringing the party to UNVRS, and we expect more epic nights this season.

John Summit hosts his Experts Only party for a Monday residency from the 1st June.

elrow returns to take its unmistakable, larger than life parties every Saturday from the 6th June.

The king himself, Carl Cox, returns for his Sunday residency from the 21st June.

Jamie Jones‘ Paradise will return every Wednesday from the 10th June, and FISHER also returns on Thursdays from the 4th June.

ANYMA takes on Tuesdays between June – September.

The [UNVRS] Opening Party took place on Friday the 30th May. [UNVRS] will be the new home of elrow, one of Ibiza’s most popular and established parties.

None other than Carl Cox hosted Sundays from the 22nd June.

David Guetta hosted Galactic Circus every Friday from the 13th June.

Meanwhile, FISHER moved his residency from Hï and take over the Thursday slot.

Jamie Jones’ Paradise took the Wednesday spot.

Eric Prydz hosted his incredible Holosphere shows on Mondays from the 2nd June.

Anyma took over the Tuesday spot from the 8th July.

The announcements so far signal that the club is ready to host the very biggest residencies on a weekly basis throughout the season.

In addition, some special one-off parties will be hosted by the likes of ANOTR and Sara Landry.
