Destino is the stunning clifftop resort and party venue, perched high above Talamanca with sweeping views over Ibiza Town, the Mediterranean and Formentera.

Its blend of five-star hotel living and open-air parties has made it one of the island’s most coveted daytime experiences, where panoramic vistas, sunset sets and that famous Pacha glamour meet on a single terrace.

A true alternative to the bigger superclubs, Destino’s sporadic event calendar (typically a dozen carefully curated dates a season) gives every party a sense of occasion you simply can’t manufacture at scale.

Destino opened its doors in 2013 as the latest jewel in the Pacha Group crown, the legendary Spanish hospitality empire founded by Ricardo Urgell in 1967. Designed as a more grown-up, lifestyle-led counterpart to the iconic Pacha nightclub down the hill, the adult-only resort quickly became the place to catch Ibiza’s biggest names away from the late-night crowds.

The venue earned its reputation hosting some of the most talked-about parties of the modern era. Solomun was the original architect of the Destino sound, using his clifftop dates between 2015 and 2022 to showcase live electronic acts including Âme, Rodriguez Jr. and MEUTE. Marco Carola’s Music On Daytime parties cemented its reputation as the home of long-form, high-quality tech house, and the venue famously hosted the world-exclusive first ever back-to-back set between Solomun and Marco Carola.

In October 2023, Dubai-based FIVE Holdings acquired the Pacha Group with Destino rebranded as Destino Five Ibiza. A comprehensive refurbishment in 2025 upgraded the resort from four-star to five-star status, cementing its position at the very top end of Ibiza’s hospitality scene.

Destino is built around its open-air main terrace, where a large dance floor wraps around a swimming pool and faces a central stage backed by uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean. The layout is designed to flow from sunset into the night, with a sun-drenched, golden-hour atmosphere that gradually transitions into full party mode.

VIP table areas surround the pool and stage, offering elevated views of the DJ booth and a more exclusive feel, particularly popular for headline events. The dress code is smart casual: no beachwear, swimwear or sportswear, but the vibe is more “stylish and elegant” than stuffy.

Tucked beneath the resort sits TOX Club, an intimate underground space designed for after-parties and private sessions. Usually reserved for hotel guests and VIPs, TOX opens its doors after major events to keep the night rolling into the early hours, long after the main terrace has wound down.

Parties typically run from 5pm until midnight, with TOX continuing until dawn. The venue also operates a complimentary shuttle bus service for ticket holders from key pick-up points around the island on event days.

Destino’s 2026 calendar is built around the Pacha ICONS series, with two of the biggest names in global house and tech house leading the charge.

Marco Carola presents Music On Daytime returns with eight dates throughout the season, continuing the residency that has defined Destino’s musical identity for the better part of a decade. Expect long, hypnotic sets, that signature Carola groove, and a crowd that knows exactly what it came for.

Solomun Outdoor marks the Bosnian-German selector’s biggest commitment to the venue since 2023, with four exclusive open-air dates: 11 June, 16 July, 30 July and 27 August. After several years of more limited appearances, his return in this format brings back the deep, emotive, long-journey sets that originally made his Destino nights so memorable.
