Butch

Bülent Gürler, known professionally as DJ Butch, is a German‑Turkish DJ and producer born in Alzey and raised in Mainz, Germany. Fascinated by hip‑hop and DJing from age 11 after watching the DMC World Championships, he began practicing obsessively—first turntablism, later scratch and beat‑matching. After early years mixing hip‑hop, jazz and RnB, he evolved into minimal, house and techno, melding genres fluidly and releasing on labels like Trapez, Visionquest, Cocoon and Desolat.
