If you want to experience the true essence of clubbing in Ibiza, look no further than Pacha. It is Ibiza’s original, iconic clubbing brand that has attracted the world’s biggest names in music for 6 entire decades. Pacha celebrated its 50th birthday in 2024, which was arguably the club’s biggest season yet.
Whilst its double cherry logo is now known the world over, including 9 other clubs, Pacha Ibiza remains the spiritual home of an Ibizan Institution that many call the jewel in the crown of nightclubs all over the globe.

Pacha Ibiza History
In 1967, brothers Ricardo and Piti Urgell opened their first nightclub in Sitges, near their hometown of Barcelona. The name Pacha originated from a remark from Ricardo’s first wife that they would be able to “live like a Pachá” (an Arabian prince) due to the money that they would earn from their venture.
Skip forward 6 years to 1973. Having seen the booming popularity of the island in a post-Franco (Spanish dictator) world, the brothers set their sights set on Ibiza. They purchased a plot of land just north of Ibiza Town in Talamanca which had nothing but an old Spanish farmhouse (or “finca”) on it. Do you recognise the building below?
Pacha Ibiza was built, and the rest as they say is history. Unlike many clubs in Ibiza, Pacha typically stays open throughout the winter, showcasing local and international talent. Piti was still DJings at one of the club’s longest running nights, “Flower Power”, until just a few years ago.
The Pacha group would go on to build a hotel next to the club, and also own other nearby venues including Lío (previously known as El Divino, located by the port), and Destino (a luxury hotel in the hills a short distance away).
The original club in Ibiza is now looking better than ever after extensive refurbishments in recent years.
Club Information
Pacha Ibiza’s capacity can hold up to 3,000 people.
There are two rooms at Pacha, though you’d be forgiven for thinking there was only one. Indeed, the main room is the centerpiece of the entire club. Its dancefloor is slightly sunken to the ground in the centre of the room, with the DJ booth raised immediately adjacent to the main VIP area.
As you explore the club, it’s quickly evident you have a variety of choices to get a viewpoint of the main room’s DJ booth. There’s a large outdoor terrace with plenty of seating options to give you a short break from dancing and grab a drink.
Meanwhile, Pacha’s second room is more of a hidden gem. The Pachacha Room is located on your left as you enter the club, and is a far more intimate venue to catch a set if the main room is too packed.
Pacha uses a d&b V-Series sound system, and a HARMAN Martin lighting system.
Pacha VIP
If you know Pacha, then you know that VIP has a strong presence emphasis throughout the club. Other tables are dotted around at various levels in the room.
VIP at Pacha is the quintessential luxury experience in Ibiza. The club offers a large range of VIP tables and areas across different levels in its main room. The most premium of these areas will have you nearly rubbing shoulders with the DJ, right in the middle of the dancefloor.
Tables prices are usually based on groups of 4. Perfect for couples, friends, or anyone you’re lucky enough to be in Ibiza with 😀

You’ll get a better view of the main room if you go to one of the higher levels during peak times. After 3am the main dance floor will become quieter. Make the most of the outdoor space for a breather in between!
Pacha Ibiza 2025
It’s no surprise that the club still attracts some of the biggest names in dance music, however in recent years its music policy has changed to include more underground, emerging promoters.
Sonny Fodera will host his debut residency at Pacha on Mondays.
Camelphat will return to host Tuesdays throughout the season.
Solomun+1 returns every Sunday, and Pure Pacha will be back on Saturdays.
Defected returns to Pacha! The UK based label will take over the Thursday slot this season.
Marco Carola and the Music On crew will return to Pacha every Friday during the season.
BLOND:ISH will bring her magical Abracadabra parties to Wednesdays for the first time 🪄

Pacha is located in Talamanca, to the north of Ibiza Town. It’ll cost around €10 for a taxi from Playa d’en Bossa, or €30 from San Antonio. You can take a free disco bus from either location throughout the night.
Pacha opens at midnight and typically closes at 7am, depending on the night.
Ticket entry to Pacha varies from €30-65, depending on the night.
A Beer costs €16, Spirit + Mixer €24, Water €12 at Pacha Ibiza.

There’s no strict dress code, although of any of the superclubs, you’re most likely to be turned away from Pacha if you’re not looking smart enough. Swimwear and sleeveless shirts are not permitted in VIP.

Playa Soleil is located in Playa d’en Bossa. It’s a 10 minute taxi from Ibiza Town and 30 minutes from San Antonio. A taxi from Ibiza town will cost you around €10, or €40 from San Antonio.
Playa Soleil’s opens daily at 10am. The club opens at 5pm most nights and typically closes at 3am.
Tickets for most Playa Soleil events are free, but in some cases expect to pay up to €25 entry.

“Prepare to Groove with Michael Bibi’s unstoppable party”
Very few Ibiza underground parties have attracted as much attention as Solid Grooves in the past few seasons.
The London techno and tech house label, fronted by main man Michael Bibi, has developed a huge following in Ibiza and around the world, for very good reason.
Although Solid Grooves first hosted Ibiza parties at Privilege, it’s truly found its home at the kind of all underground clubs, DC10.
Every Thursday in Ibiza, the Solid Grooves Motel opens for business. It’s a playground of the best tech house music you’ll find anywhere on the island.
In 2025 Solid Grooves will open its doors on Thursday June the 5th. The Solid Grooves Closing Party takes place on Thursday October 2nd.

Located in-land toward the south of Ibiza, Cova Santa is a restaurant, bar and nightclub. It’s a beautiful venue. Owned by the Amnesia group, expect a significantly more intimate clubbing venue, with a relaxed vibe that still brings in some big names throughout the season.
If you do opt for dining before dancing, you’ll get access to the club included.
In recent years, parties at the club aspect of Cova Santa have increased in number. Once home to the odd after party from the likes of Marco Carola, you can now see popular Ibiza mainstays such as woomoon and Shadows frequent the venue throughout the summer.
In “normal” seasons, some of the parties are even free! The only downside being that the venue is definitely one you’ll need to take a taxi to. Regardless, Cova Santa is growing in popularity and offers a different experience to your typical clubbing night out in Ibiza.

Cova Santa is located towards the south of the island, a few kilometres from San Josep. It’s a 15 minute taxi from Ibiza Town and 20 minutes from San Antonio. A taxi from Ibiza town will cost you around €20, or €30 from San Antonio.

Defected returns to Pacha in 2025. It takes over the Thursday slot at the famous cherry club, in a homecoming that has got old and new fans of the famous label very excited for what’s in store.
Get ready to see the UK label host some of the biggest names in house music you’ll see on the island this season.
We struggle to think of a House Music label or brand that has managed to stand the test of time, constantly innovate, and allow dance music to be accessible to all. The Defected team have done just that. And now they return to Pacha, its home most recently between 2008-2012.
Defected Ibiza’s Opening Party will take place at Pacha on Thursday the 8th May. There are 22 dates in total for the season, with the Closing Party taking place on the 2nd October. Expect the Defected Ibiza 2025 line up to feature likes of MK, Basement Jaxx, Darius Syrossian and Armand Van Helden along with many more to play some unforgettable parties.

In 2025 the Calvin Harris Opening Party will take place on Friday the 30th May. Mark your calendars now!
In total, he’ll play 16 consecutive Fridays.
Brand new for 2025, he’ll also play on Tuesdays from the 1st July until the 26th August.
The Calvin Harris Closing Party will take place on Friday the 12th September.

Eden Ibiza History
Eden is located right in the center of San Antonio Bay. It stands on the original location of the Star Club, which then became known as the Kaos Club in the 90s. In 1999, Eden was born, offering direct competition to rival club Es Paradis practically next door to it.
Many associate Eden with the swath of British DJs who made Ibiza a hugely popular destination in the 90s & 2000s. Judge Jules’ Judgement Sundays were a mainstay of the club – check out this video from 2000 for a real throwback of clubbing back then.
In 2013 the club underwent a much needed refurbishment under its new Dutch owners Michael van der Kuit and Rinco Soesman.
Well to be honest, we have taken what was a mediocre/below average nightclub and developed it into a world class 6 Star nightspot that we believe everyone can enjoy from every part of the island

With its new shiny look, the club has been going from strength to strength. Unlike other Ibiza superclubs, Eden has been able to cater to a younger, more budget conscious audience who still want to have the full Ibiza clubbing experience.
Club Information
Eden has two rooms, the main room and its smaller NeXt room. The club can hold up to 5,000 people.
The main room is located over 2 floors, in a theatre like layout where a first floor mezannine looks down below. Two VIP areas can be found both on the ground and first floors, looking over the DJ booth.
The NeXt room is a far more intimate space holding 350 people in total.
The club boasts a state of the art Incubus VOID soundsystem, and a custom DiGidot lighting system from InventDesign.

Chinois is Ibiza’s newest most glamour exclusive venue. Set in Talamanca (just a stone’s throw away from the Marina and Ibiza Town) this 1,000 capacity club is already making waves on the island, and describes itself as “Ibiza’s newest odyssey”.
It may only have opened its doors a few seasons ago, but it’s been drawing the attention of many Ibiza clubbers with its impressive line ups, stunning interiors, and intimate atmosphere.

Club Information
Chinois opened in 2022, following a renovation from the previous venue that existed on the site called HEART Ibiza. It sits alongside the open-air terrace of the Ibiza Gran Hotel and Casino de Ibiza.
Island Hospitality own Chinois. They’re the same team behind various luxurious restaurants and venues across London and Ibiza.
Chinois gets its name from the Park Chinois, the group’s high-end Asian restaurant in Mayfair, London. The luxurious touches are evident wherever you look inside the club, from its finishes, the bar area, and the impressive lighting system. The interiors are a nod to the decadent jazz clubs of 1930’s Shanghai, and everything about the place glimmers with class.
Indeed, this is the exact vibe the club owners want to preserve. It’s worth noting that the dress code is stricter than other clubs on the island. Men should wear trousers, not shorts, to adhere to its smart “classy casual” policy.
If you want to go to Pacha, Hi Ibiza and Amnesia, you need four or five thousand people to generate an atmosphere. Here, we need as little as a thousand, which means that we can be more creative and experimental. We can do live things here that would never work in larger venues, so we can even be more of a jazz and soul club if we wanted and they wouldn’t dare to do things like that.

The venue holds 1,000 clubbers in total, making it one of the smaller, more intimates dance floors on the island. There is one room in the club, featuring an impeccably tuned soundsystem and a 360 degree video projection to accentuate the production.
Island Hospitality announced Danny Whittle as the groups’s brand director in 2022. He brings a wealth of experience having previously headed up the music programming at Pacha down the road.

In 2025, Saturdays will see Claptone’s The Masquerade will move to Chinois for the very first time.

TRIP will return on various dates throughout the season.
Brand new for 2025, Honey Dijon will take over Thursdays, while Francis Mercier presents Solèy on Fridays.

Paradise’s moves to UNVRS in 2025
Jamie Jones‘ Paradise has established itself as one of the biggest underground nights in Ibiza in recent years. The Welshman created the spinoff party having been a longstanding resident of Circoloco back in 2012.
The party took place at DC10 for over 8 years, but in 2020 the Paradise crew announced they would be moving to Amnesia for the first time.
It was a massive step for the party that is already one of the most popular parties on the island. Moving to superclub Amnesia will allow for much larger crowds and there’s no doubt the move was a huge success for Jamie Jones’ famous party.
And in 2025, Paradise will take things to the next level. The party moves to UNVRS, the island’s new hyperclub, and it’s the party that everyone is talking about. Will you be joining Jamie Jones in Paradise in 2025?
