Ibiza Rocks

The Ibiza Rocks brand breathed fresh air into Ibiza’s party scene over 15 years ago when it boldly brought new genres of music to San Antonio.

Fast forward to 2026, it has now established itself as the forerunner for the best daytime parties on the west of the island at its recently refurbed hotel, just a stone’s throw from the sunset strip.

Let’s take a trip back to 2005. Back then, Britons Andy McKay and Dawn Hindle had already built a formidable reputation on the island after creating the legendary Manumission party at Club Ku (now known as Privilege).

McKay believed there was a gap in the market for 20-somethings who wanted to come to Ibiza to experience more than just a DJ set. The couple took a small venue in San Antonio and for the next three summer seasons booked the likes of Kasabian, Babyshambles, The Artic Monkeys and The Kaiser Chiefs perform. The Ibiza Rocks brand was alive and kicking.

After three successful seasons, an opportunity arose to purchase the family hotel Club Paradiso Mediterraneo just down the road, close to the sunset strip. In doing so, it became rebranded as the Ibiza Rocks Hotel, which remains the location where you can find their daily poolside parties throughout the summer.

The Ibiza Rocks Group still own the original venue in the bay, now called the Ibiza Rocks Diner. The group also own other hotels in Ibiza and Mallorca, including the legendary Pikes Hotel.

Ibiza Rocks Hotel is located in the heart of San Antonio, a stone’s throw from the sunset strip.

The hotel’s 368 rooms are situated across 4 floors, looking over the main courtyard to the stage and swimming pool. Daily pool parties typically take place from 2-9pm, with stage setups varying, depending on the party that day.

Guests of the hotel receive entry to the daily parties, so you can expect both the dancefloor and balconies above to be packed no matter where you look.

Ibiza Rocks uses a VOID soundsystem, the same company that provide sound to DC10 and Eden.

Ibiza Rocks opened its 2026 season on 26 April. The San Antonio pool kept moving with Ibiza Rocks Pool Party and Ibiza Anthems, alongside Nothing New, Bingo Brunch, R&B Affair and WNDRLND presents Origins. Craig David, Ben Hemsley, Stormzy and DJ EZ are among the artists who have played here in previous seasons.

Pool-party dates and line-ups for 2027 have not been announced yet. The 2026 events remain in the archive below.

Ibiza Rocks is located in the heart of San Antonio. You’ll pay around €25-30 for a taxi there from Playa d’en Bossa.

Ibiza Rocks typically opens in late April or May; its 2027 opening date is TBA. Daily parties usually start at 2pm.

Ibiza Rocks typically closes in early October; its 2027 closing date is TBA. Daily parties usually finish at 9pm.

2026 prices: tickets were typically €15-€30, depending on the party; 2027 TBA. Hotel guests normally get entry to the daily party.

Ibiza Rocks events can hold up to 1,000 guests.

There’s no dress code for entry at Ibiza Rocks. If you want to jump in the pool during the party, dress appropriately!
