[UNVRS] (pronounced “Universe”) will be the world’s very first Hyperclub, opening in Ibiza for the 2025 season.

It’s located in San Rafael, in the centre of Ibiza, close to Amnesia – another of Ibiza’s famous superclubs.

[UNVRS] was announced in August 2024. It’s owned by The Night League, the company behind Ibiza super clubs Ushuaïa and Hï.

But what’s the history behind [UNVRS]? The venue was previously known as Privilege, which was well known for being the largest club in the world. Being able to host 10,000 clubbers made it the largest super club even by Ibiza standards. During its time as Privilege, the club hosted residencies from the likes of RESISTANCE, Carl Cox, Tiesto, and Armin van Buuren.

Some of the island’s most current famous parties also took place at the Vista Club in Privilege: elbow and Solid Grooves.

Before Privilege, the venue was called Ku. Perhaps the most famous party at Ku was Manumission, the worldwide acclaimed party brought over from the UK to Ibiza in the 90s.

Opening in 1978, the huge building has had several renovations over the years. Since the club has been closed since 2019, we’re expecting a significantly different look and feel when [UNVRS] officially opens.

In its previous form as Privilege, the venue was split between the enormous main room, Vista Club, and Coco Loco bar. There were also various gardens and chill out areas dotted across outdoor spaces.

Finally, there is the iconic dome. It’s what Privilege was perhaps most known for, standing out from far away in the distance as clubbers flocked to the venue every summer.

The club’s maximum capacity was 10,000 people, making it the largest club in the world.

We don’t know if the rooms will be split in a similar fashion for [UNVRS], however if you look closely at the announcement image, it’s clear that the dome will be back!

Based on The Night League’s transformation of the venues now known as Hï and Ushuaïa, we can expect an increased presence of VIP tables at the club.

TNL state that:

We’re expecting big, big things from the club in terms of production, and can’t wait to see what the club will bring to Ibiza’s nightlife.

As mentioned above, we have no doubt that there will be many VIP options at [UNVRS] given The Night League’s announcement of the club.

[UNVRS] have yet to announce any residencies or events for its grand opening in 2025. Given its size, the venue could host any of the biggest existing residencies already present on the island.

We also expect many one-off performances from the biggest musical acts in the world.
