Ushua\u00efa Ibiza History<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_custom_heading][vc_column_text]Ushua\u00efa started life as a beach club in 2008. Frenchman Yan Pissenem<\/strong> had the opportunity to purchase a venue on Playa d\u2019en Bossa<\/strong>, having seen a gap in the market for clubbers in Ibiza who wanted to party in the sunshine.<\/p>\n

Looking at the empty beach at the time, Pissenem thought it felt like the end of the world. That would turn out to the inspiration for the of the club, named after the Argentinian city Ushuaia, often called the \u201cend of the world\u201d due to its location near Antarctica.<\/p>\n

The club\u2019s popularity grew quickly, attracting the likes of Luciano<\/strong>, Sven Vath<\/strong>, Richie Hawtin<\/strong> and Sasha<\/strong> to its parties. The parties were a little different<\/a> back in 2009!<\/p>\n

As more and more flocked to the beach parties each season, it was clear a larger venue was needed. So, in 2011 Pissenem teamed up with the Paladium Group<\/strong>, owned by the billionaire Matutes<\/strong> family, who own many of the hotels in Playa d\u2019en Bossa.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image media=“1121403″ media_width_percent=“85″ alignment=“center“ border=“yes“ shadow=“yes“ shadow_darker=“yes“ uncode_shortcode_id=“191032″][vc_column_text]They decided to transform the hotel adjacent to the club into what is now known as the Ushua\u00efa Ibiza Beach Hotel<\/strong>, and the rest is history.<\/p>\n

With a different music policy at every party, it has hosted the biggest names in global dance music. 2013 saw the arrival of the Ushua\u00efa Tower<\/strong>, another hotel adjacent to the main venue.<\/p>\n

This gamble on creating a luxury hotel & day club has brought phenomenal success. Whilst Ushua\u00efa\u2019s parties finish at midnight every day, the purchase of the club previously known as Space<\/strong> across the road, named H\u00ef Ibiza<\/strong>, allows clubbers to continue their dancing long into the night.[\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading separator_color=“yes“ separator=“yes“]<\/p>\n

Club Information<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_custom_heading][vc_column_text]Ushua\u00efa holds up to 4,000 people<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It is completely open air, with hotel rooms looking over the central area including pool and main stage. In addition to the main stage, another smaller DJ area exists at the southern end of the venue.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image media=“1121402″ media_width_percent=“85″ alignment=“center“ border=“yes“ shadow=“yes“ shadow_darker=“yes“ uncode_shortcode_id=“202614″][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=“211255″]VIP areas take up a considerable amount of the venue, although the main dancefloor area has the closest action to the DJ booth.<\/p>\n

Being an outdoor venue gives Ushua\u00efa an extra layer of creativity when it comes to its productions. You\u2019ll see huge mechanic ants come through the crowd during ANTS<\/strong>, fireworks and flamethrowers whilst listening to David Guetta<\/strong>, and an entire carnival atmosphere during elrow<\/strong>\u2019s occasional takeovers.<\/p>\n

The club uses a Robe<\/strong> lighting system, and an Adamson<\/strong> soundsystem, both also which are used at sister club H\u00ef Ibiza<\/strong>.[\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading separator_color=“yes“ separator=“yes“ uncode_shortcode_id=“179910″ el_id=“vip“]<\/p>\n

Ushua\u00efa VIP<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_custom_heading][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=“181818″]The Ushua\u00efa VIP area is located on the right hand side of the dancefloor. It is slightly elevated to improve the view of the large stage from several rows of VIP tables.<\/p>\n
